BG delight at Carioca find

Petrobras has made a new oil discovery in the Santos Basin,offshore Brazil.The Carioca find is within the BM-S-9 concession,where Petrobras holds 45%,BG Group 30% and Repsol 25%.The Carioca oil field is located in 7,021ft(2,140m)of water,approximately 273km off the south coast of Rio de Janeiro.It is close to the Tupi discovery in Block BM-S-11 which was announced in October 2006.
