Gazprom-Rosneft mull swaps

Russia's Rosneft and Gazprom have kicked off negotiations on swapping assets.Rosneft is looking to take control of the South Priobskoye oil field in West Siberia,which is currently being developed by Gazprom's oil unit Gazpromneft,an official told Russia's Prime-Tass.In exchange,Rosneft is prepared to hand Gazprom its 25% stake in Daltransgaz,the company that owns and operates a gas pipeline running from the north of Sakhalin Island to the Khabarovsk region.
