Repsol's $174m for Ecuador

Spain's Repsol plans to spend around US $174m over the next nine years in Ecuador after it signed a temporary deal with the OPEC member nation. Repsol signed a one-year deal with the government that extends its contract for six years to 2018. The deal paves the way for Ecuador buy all the oil Repsol produces for a set fee.
