Austria's OMV has started an extended well test of the Latif-1 discovery on the Latif Block in Pakistan's Sindh province. As part of a fast track development, Latif gas will be routed via a 23km pipeline to OMV's Kadanwari gas plant. OMV said that during the first three quarters of the year the testing gas rate from Latif-1 will be around 1,000 boe/d. By the fourth quarter, this will be ramped up to 4,000 boe/d once gas from the Latif-2 well is brought onstream.
