Rosneft's Abkhazia plans

Russia's state-owned Rosneft plans to start exploration work offshore the former Georgia republic of Abkhazia, according to the operator's boss. Rosneft chief Sergei Bogdanchikov and Abkhaz Economics Minister Kristina Ozgan signed a five-year framework agreement in Abkhazia's capital of Sukhum that will see Rosneft explore and develop the republic's offshore fields.
