Afghanistan offers blocks

Afghanistan is launching a licensing round for exploration and production sharing contracts covering three blocks in the north of the country. The Ministry of Mines said that all three blocks have known hydrocarbon-bearing accumulations. The Jangalikalan Block contains a gas field, while the Juma-Bashikurd Block holds two gas fields. The third Block, Kashkari, holds three oil fields: Kashkari, Angoat and Aqdarya.
