Tullow Oil has hit a 492ft(150m)column with the Warthog-1 well in Block 1,Uganda.The operator said that the gross hydrocarbonbearing column is around 492ft(150m)thick,with a net hydrocarbon pay of around 151ft(46m).Wireline logs indicate 102ft(31m)of net oil pay in the main oil-bearing reservoir.There is another 49ft(15m)of pay,which Tullow said most likely consists of volatile oil,condensate or wet gas.
