Eni's 4.75 Bn GoM deal

Italy's Eni has bought assets in the Gulf of Mexico from Dominion Resources for US 4.75 Bn.Eni said the transaction would boost its production in the region to more than 110,000 boe/d in the second half of the year. In the period from 2007-2010, production from the new assets would average more than 75,000 boe/d.
