Petronet eyes Aussie CBM

India's Petronet LNG is looking to get a foothold in coalbed methane(CBM)projects in Australia and plans to bid for its first gas blocks in the country during the next licensing round.Chief executive Prosad Dasgupta said his company wants to source between 7m-12m tonnes of LNG a year from the CBM projects and will buy equity if allowed."For CBM,the focus is LNG.If I have to invest to secure supply,I will do it,"Dasgupta said.
