The UK oil and gas industry has created a new nationwide Oil and Gas Academy in a bid to secure a skilled workforce capable of guaranteeing the long term future of the UK Continental Shelf(UKCS).The academy has been set up with the aim of ensuring that the UKCS remains at the forefront of offshore expertise and technology,and allows the industry to secure the skilled workforce to sustain the industry.
