Venezuela has taken on two rigs from China as part of a 13-rig deal with the country,said Venezuela's state-owned PDVSA.PDVSA said in July said it was in"operational emergency"because of a shortage of oil rigs during soaring demand caused by record oil prices,and lowered its 2007 year-end rig count target to 120 from 191.
