After 43 years in the great oil and gas business, my wife and 1 felt that other aspects of our lives were becoming more important than a full-time job. We became even more aware of the need to enjoy life as we attended an increasing number of funerals for friends and co-workers. For those of us who are married, retirement is definitely a "we" decision. The evaluation regarding retirement fell into two categories where we spent considerable time contemplating and obtaining professional assistance.
