Fast and cost-effective, multizone stimulation using coiled tubing (CT) offers several advantages in a South Texas well. Completing a well with multiple producing zones used to be a time-consuming and expensive operation. Traditionally, each zone had to be isolated and treated individually if there was to be any chance of optimal stimulation. This meant numerous trips into the well with perforating guns and temporary bridge plugs along with the associated lengthy clean-up afterwards as plugs were milled up and the well was flowed back.
