Det Norske Oljeselskap has been given the go-ahead to carry out exploration drilling in the Norwegian North Sea with the Bredford Dolphin. Exploration well 15/9-23 will be drilled about 22km from the Varg field and 10km southwest of the Sleipner A platform.
