Skeie looks away from NCS

Skeie Drilling & Production (SKDP) is marketing its three newbuild jackup rigs away from the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS) as the credit crunch continues to bite. Skeie said the underlying demand for the rigs on the NCS is considered to be unchanged, but that the financial crisis, together with low oil prices have made operators postpone their plans until market conditions in general have improved.
