Nido Petroleum will start a seabed coring campaign in the fourth quarter of this year in Service Contract 58 (SC58) offshore the Philippines. Work is due to start in December this year, with the main acquisition phase being planned for March 2010, said Nido, which also plans to carry out a high resolution multi-beam survey.
