Serica Energy is finalising an export route for gas from its Columbus gas field in the UK North Sea,which it hopes to bring onstream in 2010.Serica is the operator of the field in Block 23/16f and holds a 50% interest.The field is situated close to existing production infrastructure,and negotiations to secure access are underway.The development will include the drilling of horizontal production wells with subsea tie-back to the chosen host production platform.
