Eni is considering bidding for the Olemchinsky Block in Eastern Siberia in a move to bolster its assets in Russia,according to reports.A regional official in Krasnoyarsk said that Eni will face competition from domestic player Pacific Oil Resources for the acreage,reported Kommersant.The block's potential resources are estimated at 315m bbl of oil and 4.27 Tcf(121 Bcm)of gas.
