McDermott bags Platong II CPP

Chevron has decided to award McDermott the engineering,procurement and construction(EPC)contract for a 17,000 tonne deck for a Central Processing Platform(CPP)on the Platong II gas development in the Gulf of Thailand,E&P Daily can reveal.Industry sources said that McDermott beat off rivals MMHE of Malaysia and Singapore's SMOE to land the deal on a negotiated contract basis.
