The Al Amir SE-1 sidetrack well in Egypt's onshore North West Gemsa Concession has discovered oil and gas."We are pleased to announce a discovery in Kareem Formation sandstones with the well testing 41° API oil and gas at sustained rates of 3,388 b/d of oil and 4.25 MMcf/d(120.4 Mcm/d)of gas," said partner Premier Oil.
