Green light on UK Ceres

Venture Production has been given the go ahead to push ahead with development of the UK North Sea Ceres field by the Department for Business,Enterprise & Regulatory Reform(BERR).Ceres(formerly Barbarossa)is located in UKCS Block 47/9c and will be developed as a single well subsea tieback jointly with the nearby Eris discovery(formerly Channon)with first gas currently planned for mid-2009.
