Algeria changes LNG bid track

Algeria has decided against awarding a planned contract to construct an LNG plant to partners Petrofac of the UK and Indonesia's IKPT - and plans to start fresh talks for the facility with second placed alliance Snamprogetti and Chiyoda.Algeria's state-owned Sonatrach originally planned to award the deal to Petrofac and IKPT on 12 July to build an LNG train in the western Mediterranean port of Arzew with a production capacity of 4.3m tones a year,according to reports.
