Providence targets Irish Crosby

Providence Resources will take part in an exploration well on the Crosby prospect in the East Irish Sea in the spring of 2009.The well will be drilled by operator Challenger Minerals in UK Block 110/14d and contains prospective resources of 15m boe.Announcing a profit of US 3.25m for the first half this year,against a loss of 0.25m in the same period last year,Providence said the drilling activities would be financed from existing financial resources.
