BG bags Queensland Gas Co

BG has outlined a new recommended takeover offer for Australia's Queensland Gas Co(QGC)totalling US 3.46 Bn.BG said it has agreed terms for a recommended offer for the entire issued share capital of QGC.Back in February BG acquired shares in QGC and by the close of trade on the Australian Stock Exchange it held 10.9% of QGC shares,and so will pay 3.22 Bn to acquire the shares it does not already own.
