BHP buys Colombian block

Australia's BHP has acquired exploration rights for three years to Block CPE-5 onshore the Llanos Basin in Colombia.The company signed a technical evaluation agreement(TEA)with the Agencia Nacional de Hidrocarburos(ANH)to explore CPE-5.BHP will operate the acreage with a 71.4% stake,while SK Energy of South Korea has the remaining 28.6%.
