Circle Oil has confirmed a gas discovery on the Sebou permit in Morocco. Circle drilled, logged and tested exploration well CGD-9, confirming a discovery in the Lower Guebbas formation. CGD-9 tested gas at a sustained rate of 8.86 MMcf/d (251 Mcm/d) and has now been completed as a potential producer. A full technical evaluation of the well is under way.
