Russia's state-owned Gazprom expects the government to award it new blocks in Sakhalin Island and Kamchatka in Russia's Far East this year as it looks to boost its reserves for supplies to Asia.The operator said it expects to get the rights to develop deposits in Sakhalin 3 and on the Kamchatka peninsula before the end of this year.
