North Sea-focused Endeavour International is going to drop its offer for Ithaca Energy after the approach was rejected by Ithaca's directors.Ithaca had rejected the proposal,saying it did not recognise the value of Ithaca's assets and prospects."Ithaca has a number of ongoing initiatives that will be concluded in the near term which we believe will provide greater value for Ithaca's shareholders,"said company chairman John Summers.
