The latest letter in my inbox relating to this regular page in Building Engineer challenged me to say something positive about the economy, so here goes! Apparently there is light at the end ofthe housing market tunnel. A recent Property Tracker reveals that access to mortgage finance as a barrier to property purchase has dropped to its lowest level since June 2008 (42% in March 2013 versus 59% at its peak in September 2011).
