UN BACKED GREEN COMMUNITY DESIGN COMPETITION LAUNCHED

The University of Salford is behind a global student design competition, backed by UN Habitat, to find the best ideas for a sustainable green space on a giant car park in Turin.The car park is on the edge of the city's famous Fiat factory and is used for storing newly manufactured vehicles. It is sited in a green corridor of land that is at the heart of a strategic area of the city, butin itself is isolated and unattractive.
