CONSULTATION ON CHANGES TO BUILDING REGULATIONS PARTS L & F (CONSERVATION OF FUEL & POWER/MEANS OF VENTILATION)

The Government has published a consultation document containing proposals on changes to Parts L and F of the Building Regulations and to invite a response. The consultation seeks views on proposed changes to Part L (Conservation of Fuel and Power) and Part F (Means of Ventilation) of the Building Regulations that are planned to come into force in 2010. This consultation documentis presented in three volumes: Volume 1 sets out the policy context and approaches, the impact assessment, measures designed to further improve compliance; and proposed changes to the detailed technical guidance for Parts L and F can be found in Volumes 2 and 3 respectively.
