An education campaign to battle Healthcare Associated Infections has been launched in UK hospitals. The campaign is the biggest inside the NHS to date, aimed at driving down the number of healthcare associated infections (HCAIs). The education programme will be available to all 1.3 million NHS staff in England, making it one of the most ambitious education projects undertaken in the UK.
