They have developed SMARThome, an intelligent home control system that could help to save lives, educate people and assist in saving the planet. As many incidents have demonstrated, if a building is not designed to arrest the spread of fire, entire facilities and the equipment they house can be totally destroyed, which can be extremely costly for both insurers and building owners, in terms of replacing buildings and equipment, as well as lost production time. The product has been conceived to out-do its wired rivals for ease of connectivity and use. Past systems looked great, the user was able to kill their family from nine miles away by turning the heating up full blast, but the controls meant that the average home owner needed a degree in technology to work it all. Now all the operator has to do is log on to access their home web page (guarded by Adam) and talk to their 'smart programmer', the brains of the system to control whatever they wish, either by a click of a mouse, a text message or via a handheld device.
