There is a school of thought in work psychology that clever people don't perform as well in the workplace as research suggests. Due to its innovative and fast-moving nature, the technology-based learning industry does have more than its fair share of very clever people. But research from Beier and Oswald, published last November, suggests we shouldn't start handing out P45s to all the resident geniuses just yet.
