Human capital is key to productivity gains

Managing human capital is the most important factor in improving productivity, a study from the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) has revealed. It was voted as being either "crucial" or "important" for business effectiveness by 85% of respondents. Factors such as technology and business strategy, though important, were secondary to motivating and training staff, the study found.
