The gross value of printed wiring board scrap in November 2008 was $3.39 per pound, the lowest price since January 2007, and down five percent from the October figure. The PWB value also was down 17.3 percent from November 2007's numbers. Year-to-date, the average value of board scrap is $4.38 per pound, a 19.7-percent decline over the same period in 2007.
