The current economic trend is characterised by a considerable increase in prices on the cost front,which is not being adequately counterbalanced on that of finished products.his has contributed a growing tendency on the part of end product manufacturers to appeal to raw and recycled material suppliers for discounts and deferred payment terms.with world economic growth standing at 3.9% in 2003 and expected to rise to 4.6% in 2004,the recovery now seems to be extending to most of the industrialised world.
