The President, John Humphries, and Chief Executive, John Hooper, recently visited Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong between 29 March and 09 April. This was the first such visit for several years with the principal objectives of re-engaging with members, revitalising membership, identifying opportunities of local support through the British Chamber of Commerce, presenting to students and reviewing opportunities for accrediting University diplomas and degrees for entry to Associate and Corporate level of membership. In addition, we met with various organisations, establishing or reestablishing contact, to discuss ways in which we could gain greater recognition for the Association and for our members in the Region.
