PC-board value The average price for printed circuit boards declined again in November, falling 13 cents to $7.96 per pound. Substantial drops in the prices of gold and copper were largely to blame for the second straight month of declines in the scrap circuit board index. The decline means the average year-over-year board price is back to being negative, with last month's figure off by approximately -0.06 percent compared to November of 2011. However, the average price of circuit boards is still up 2.3 percent since the beginning of 2012.
