NEW GUIDE TO PLANNED PART L CHANGES

Mitsubishi Electric has launched a free booklet to help guide the industry through the changes to Part L of the Building Regulations, which take place from January 2006, The Guide to Part L is CPD accredited and has been designed to enhance the knowledge of anyone who needs to understand the key issues facing the industry today. Part L is undergoing a major change to help achieve Government targets for even higher standards for energy efficiency of both commercial and domestic buildings. As a result, the process of designing a building, and ensuring that it complies with Part L will become more complex -although much of what is currently being proposed is actually still being debated, despite the launch date this coming January.
