AECOM'S BUILDING SERVICES TEAM PROVES ITS WORTH AT WELBECK ESTATE'S SCHOOL OF ARTISAN FOOD AND ARTISAN BAKERY

Forthose of you who have been involved in the refurbishment of listed property you will know how it can be particularly resource or time and cost intensive. However at AECOM's global multi-disciplinary office in Leeds, we have recently completed a project in Nottinghamshire, completely transforming a former motor yard and army sixth form college building into an artisan bakery and The School of Artisan Food in very quick time and within a controlled budget. The scheme provided the opportunity for a very hands-on approach, working closely with the client, contractors and the architect. Regular site monitoring and site inspection works also provided a steep learning curve for the younger members of the AECOM team to be exposed to the challenges of providing services on a listed property.
