CDM 07 GUIDANCE OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED FOR FREE INDUSTRY USE

The eagerly anticipated guidance to help all duty holders to get to grips with the practical applications of the revisions made to the Construction (Design and Management) (CDM) Regulations 2007 is now available free of charge. The changes to the CDM Regulations have been in force since April, but the guidance has been under development by industry for the last 18 months to produce a highly readable and easily accessible standard. To help industry respond to the specific changes to CDM 07, the HSE's industry advisory committee, CONIAC, set up a CDM Working Group which has coordinated the industry-produced guidance that supports industry in implementing the changes to the CDM Regulations 2007. The group's members include representatives from across the whole of construction, from clients to worker representatives, covering each of the duty holders outlined within the Regulations.
