The Association of Building Engineers recognises that there are many professionals working within the Construction Industry who hold senior positions of responsibility based on their knowledge and experience. The educational system and the move to honours degree level entry have seen many of the diploma/part-time routes to academic qualification cease. The Association provides the following routes to membership: The Professionallnterview has been designed and developed for individual candidates who hold a mixture of academic qualification and industrial construction experiences. Candidates will have to meet set requirements to become members: candidates must have relevant experience hold an HNC qualification or equivalent hold a responsible position within their organisation. Applicants are required to produce a fully detailed CV which includes clear examples of previous work.
