SAVVY EMPLOYERS GET BEHIND CONSTRUCTION AND BUILT ENVIRONMENT DIPLOMA AS COUNTDOWN TO DELIVERY BEGINS

Employers have welcomed the release of a Welcome Pack which gives in-depth information on how they can help support the forthcoming Construction and Built Environment Diploma (C&BE), which will enable nearly 4,000 young people in the first year alone to develop the skills industry employers are looking for. The launch of the Welcome Pack, by the Construction and the Built Environment Diploma Development Partnership, marks an important step on the road to delivering one of the first of the new Diploma qualifications which have been developed in close consultation with employers. Feedback from the first wave of consultation meetings with successful consortia, made up of schools, colleges, training providers and employers, indicates employers have welcomed the opportunity to be involved in the delivery of the C&BE Diploma and are keen to learn more about how to get involved.
