SKILLBUILD TRIUMPH FOR NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION COLLEGE TRAINEES

National Construction College's (NCC) roofing students have been recognised as some of the nation's best young construction trades people at the recent Skillbuild national competition final. Twelve students from the college's Scotland, South and Midlands sites demonstrated their skill, accuracy and practical knowledge in their field as well as their adherence to health and safety procedures at this year's prestigious competition. The judges awarded: Greg Gagliarde and Mark Summers, NCC Midlands, (Roof Slating and Tiling) and Terry Hastings NCC Midlands (Built Up Felt Roofing) with gold medals for their efforts. Alan Fulton and Lee Mallin, NCC Scotland also won gold in the Roof Sheeting and Cladding team category.
