Factors affecting consumer demand for packed yoghurt in Turkey and the best product quality set were determined. A conjoint analysis using the SPSS statistical programme was carried out on data from 385 household surveys. The 3 most important factors affecting packed yoghurt demand were brand, price and product content. However, the best product quality set was the Cizmelioglu private label, no-fat yoghurt, sold in the supermarket. Results indicate that consumers prefer private label low priced no-fat yoghurts.
