Granco Clark was recently awarded severalcontracts for the supply of equipmentbefore and behind the extrusion press.Kobelco Aluminum Products and Extrusionof Bowling Green, Kentucky has selectedGranco Clark to supply a complete billet / logprocessing and extrusion handling systemsfor their new press line. The scope of supplyincludes Granco Clark's next generation highefficiency log furnace, hot billet sawing, a billettaper quench system, eight IR die ovens, ahigh performance / high impact spray quench,24' air quench, cut-on-the-fly double pullersystem, high velocity cooling ducts, stretcher,a complete belt / conveyor system, ECS (ExtrusionCutting System) and gauge with scraphandling, age oven, extrusion stacking system,age oven rack stacking, powered roll rackconveyor with lift / transfers, and age ovenrack de-stacking. This project will also haveGranco Clark's SCS Extrude software thatprovides powerful diagnostics with system diagrams,step-by-step troubleshooting instructionsand graphics.
