摘要

Due to increasing population and decreasing water supplies, wastewater treatment is becoming necessary throughout the world to conserve natural water resources use for drinking water supply (1) In recent years many studies have been performed to evaluate different methods for treatment of high organic load wastewaters (2-5). An aerobic treatment of high-strength wastewaters with high biodegradable content presents a number of advantages. For example, a high degree of purification with a high load of organic material can be achieved, requires few nutrients and usually produced small amounts of excess sludge
