How efficient irrigation can ensure water supply in the Lower Amudarya basin of Uzbekistan

With global climate changes on Earth, the problem of water availability for the country of Uzbekistan may worsen in the long term, especially in the Khorezm Oasis region. Environmental changes in natural conditions of the Aral and Aral Sea regions are due to lack of scientific-proven projects of water use in the Amudarya and Syrdarya River Basins. At present, in the Aral Sea Region, the biological levels of water and surface ecosystems are not functioning and have led to an unbalanced sanitary-epidemiological situation with deterioration of the microclimate, with dust-salt winds.
