CSCS 'GO SMART' IN JANUARY 2010

CSCS announced that to improve construction site safety, security and efficiency it introduced Smart Cards in January this year. By utilising smart technology CSCS cards offer many additional benefits to contractors, clients, card-holders and the construction industry including: Making CSCS cards more difficult to forge, an increasingly common problem, which has the potential to allow untrained or even illegal workers access to construction sites putting safety at risk.
